A state of dejection or low mood that prevents the normal functioning is referred to as Depression. Being sad for no reason or lacking motivation to do anything is generally referred to as clinical depression. A person suffering from depression has symptoms like lazy, unmotivated, tired irritable sad and apathetic. Depressions are normal but if someone is depressed from sadness for a long time then he is supposed to suffer from clinical depression. Clinical depressions lead to thinking and sometimes attempt or complete suicide.

Nearly 7 – 8 % of the global population suffers from clinical depression. At least 17 million adults in US suffer from Clinical depression. The clinical depression starts without the victim being noticed. Some get drowned into the miseries without knowing that they have an emotional or psychological problem. Clinical depression is a mental phenomenon in which the victim is affected by mind, they often feel hopeless, unable to be focused, ambitionless, and lose hope on life itself.
