Rather have the infection treated first and then consider cosmetics procedures like acrylic on your nails. However if you really do want to apply the acrylic, ensure that it is just for a short period (few hours) and remove thoroughly with acetone/nail polish remover. In terms of an acrylic nail (artificial nails, gel nails), I would most definitely not advise it.
