The study was conducted by the researchers of University College, London and it was published in the 30th June issue of a journal of the American Heart Association named, Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology.

3,673, middle aged male and female, were examined by the researchers who focused on testing high levels of blood fats and short term verbal memory. The participants were taking part in the Whitehall II longitudinal study.

Let’s talk about the rewards first

1. In many people successful plastic surgery causes a boost in self-esteem and confidence that cast somewhat like a snowball effect on many areas of these people’s life. Often the betterment in some supposed problematic organ serves as a loss or diminution of self-consciousness or  social anxiousness which were the part of theses people’s life in past.
2. Many studies suggest that more attractive and beautiful people are usually supposed as more honest, more intelligent, more capable and more successful. In these same studies a correlation, between physical attraction and hiring decisions, professional recognition, promotions and salary levels, have been shown. So, if you are beautiful and attractive, it becomes somewhat easier to succeed in life.
3. A large number of health and quality of life benefits are ascribed to the benefits of plastic surgery. The rewards are obvious for those patients whose vision gets improved astonishingly by an eyelid-lift surgery. Similarly, it promises a good quality of life for those patients who have a breast reduction and suffer a long-standing daily pain.

Now the mosquitoes after the floods, the outburst of irritating tiny creatures in the waterlogged Midwest is stalking the clean-up crews and anyone venturing outside the area.

Something satisfactory is that most of them are floodwater mosquitoes that usually don’t carry West Nile virus and other epidemics. But they are blood thirsty and often attack in groups with their stinging bite.

The eggs of these tiny creatures hatch in the soil after floods and if there is high temperature after heavy rains, it becomes an ideal condition for these bugs to mate. They are called nuisance mosquitoes by the scientists.

The researchers noted that almost 42 percent of boys and only 11 percent of girls met govt. suggested exercise levels among those more than 200 British school going kids that were followed from age 5 to age 8.

However, even among these children, no positive effect was found regarding weight control with the passage of time, as the report that has been published in the journal Archives of Disease in Childhood suggests.

But it is not to suggest that exercise is not beneficial for children.

This method can provide scientists a better way to examine breast tumor in women who have breasts too thick for current breast X-rays to give a clear view.

In this connection, Radiologists donning 3-D specs are not the only possible aid. A new kind of breast camera that may defy the results of those which are quite expensive is also being tested by the scientists in The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

Ultraviolet rays can cause thickening as well as thinning of the skin. Usually, on the back of the neck the thick skin is found in the form of rough wrinkles that do not vanish even when the skin is outstretched. Yellow discoloration of the skin, coarse wrinkling are often studied under a condition known as solar elastosis. Ultraviolet exposure also causes thinning of the skin that leads towards skin tearing, fine wrinkles and easy bruising.

Changes in the skin’s blood vessels

Walls of blood vessels in the skin become thin because of ultraviolet exposure and this thinning leads towards bruising just with little disturbance in sun-exposed areas. Most of the bruising that occurs on sun-exposed skin takes place on the areas like backs of the hands, forearms, neck etc. Telangiectasias or appearance of the tiny blood vessels in the skin particularly of the face skin is another cause of ultraviolet radiation.

Dunkin Donut has ditched using somewhat hydrogenated oil in favor of trans fat free mix of soybean, cottonseed and palm oil.

In Kentucky Fried Chicken, trans fats from cooking oil have been instantly banned and also have been detached from Kentucky’s pot pie and biscuits.

It is considered that IgE antibodies form in response to those infections that are caused by parasites. It is not yet known why, but some other things like pollen or some foods also make IgE in some people that give rise to allergies.

The IgE serves like a label that sticks to molecules in pollen or food known as allergens. The IgE sticks to the allergens and starts an allergic reaction whenever someone with allergy takes this problem food. The release of histamine is one of the usual effects that IgE stimulates and this release of histamine brings changes in our bodies as symptoms like wheezing or nettle rash.

These are almost 200 more illnesses than the counted one by the health officials a week ago. This outbreak due to tainted-tomatoes has become the country’s largest-ever salmonella out break.

This increase in cases is mostly because of finishing backlogs of tests at state labs and it is not so that there a large number of new infections. The last known illness due to salmonella was reported in Florida on June 13.
