81 deaths, 785 intense allergic reactions have been reported countrywide due to toxic drug.
WASHINGTON –“People do not have a true sense of protection and security in a land where they hope to be protected and safe” these were the words of Johanna Marie Staples, the widow of Dennis who died due to receiving toxic heparin.
Wiping her tears Johanna Marie Staples gave details to a congressional subcommittee and said that her husband was expecting his 60th birthday on his last day in the world.

Heparin is used in dialysis and other treatments as a blood thinner and due to toxic heparin 81 deaths and 785 intense allergic reactions have been reported in the U.S. and same kind of reports have been found in other courtiers including Germany.

Over sulfated chondroitin sulfate
The FDA reported that the medicine was toxic with over sulfated chondroitin sulfate as it looks like heparin that was the reason that it was not sensed in usual testing, stated Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich., president of the HEC subcommittee on lapses and analysis.
According to Stupak it is still not confirm when and how chondroitin sulfate started in the product.
“FDA is working on that supposition that it might be a deliberate act of contamination however it is not confirmed yet.”It was stated by Doctor Janet Woodcock who is director of FDA’s Center for Drug Research and Evaluation.
Johanna Marie Staples told that her husband became insensitive during the treatment, his breathing stopped and he had to suffer a heart attack.Emergency medical workers took him to a near hospital but he didn’t come in consciousness again.
In another death case a dialysis nurse Colleen Hubley, who lost her husband, Randy, due to heparin told that after dialysis when her husband came home, he became the victim of diarrhea, abdominal pain and breathing problems, doctors tried their level best to save him but in vain.
According to the FDA’s Woodcock during some previous years many changes have taken place in those areas where these drugs are manufactured.
