A recent study conducted at U-M Cardio protection emphasizes the anti-inflammatory properties of tart cherries, which is better known as the “Red Hot Super Fruit”.The study released by the researchers at ‘University of Michigan’ today at the ‘Experimental Biology Annual Meeting’, shared the possibility of curing the inflammation with the help of the Tart Cherries.
As revealed by the recent studies, Inflammation usually occurs as a result of body’s natural mechanism against any kind of injury or infection however, it cannot be ignored that its chronic state may lead the person prone to various other chronic diseases.
The new study says that the tart cherries may decrease inflammation and even help reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes and heart related diseases in animals.This could be seen as a useful addition to look at the role of diet in managing disease and preventing it.
