Obsessive-compulsive disorder or OCD is considered an anxiety disorder that occurs due to obsessive thoughts which force a person to offer some tasks or action again and again.
An OCD patient resides on same thought and carries out some tasks repeatedly. Because of anxiety the patient reckons it necessary to execute some tasks repeatedly. Some signs and symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder are as follow.
As it’s quite obvious from its name, OCD is identified by compulsions and obsessions. Mostly, the patient realizes that the occurring thoughts are just a result of imagination they have no relation with reality and often the patient wants to keep himself/herself away from such thoughts. After sometimes these obsessive thoughts convert into compulsive thoughts that force a person to adopt repetitive behaviors. In order to avoid these ill imaginative scenes, the patient does some task again and again.
